iJailBreakMobile v1.0: over-the-air updater for iPhone, iPod Touch

Things are moving pretty fast on the iPhone Jailbreak scene as evidenced by the newly-released iJailBreakMobile 1.0, an over-the-air updater for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. iJailBreakMobile is perhaps the easiest app of its kind to use. It doesn't require the use of a computer, so operating system problems are basically nonexistent. This also fixes the File Not Found error as well as PowerPC compatibility issues.

iPod Touch, iPhone firmware 1.1.3 reported to crash units

iLounge reports that there are some widespread claims that the latest firmware update for the iPhone and iPod Touch are causing the units to become inoperable. If you own either of the devices, you may want to hold off updating your system to firmware 1.1.3.

Major iPod Touch software upgrade now online, plethora of new features inbound

When you thought you have everything on your iPod Touch, Apple is releasing a major software update that will add more features to your nifty gadget. New mobile applications, namely Mail, Maps, Stocks, Weather and Notes along with Web Clips and the ability to watch iTunes Movie Rentals will be available for download from iTunes with a US$ 19.99 price tag. The software upgrade will also be integrated in subsequent productions of the iPod Touch.

If you're having trouble sniffing out a proper WiFi Access Point from where you're standing, then you might find this nifty little application for Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch rather useful. Called APlogger v1.0.5, it's a native application that scans for hotspots in your area and keeps a ready log of Access Points for easy reference.
